At the start of this week I have learned all about Microsoft Access and how to use it. I now understand that Access is somewhat like Excel except easier to view. The main use of Access is to sort and list a database. Available for the viewing of different users.

This week the second thing i learned is how to do cool animations in powerpoint. They really add some creativity in my slides now. Now i can present things with more pzazz.

One thing that I have learned this week was the different shading on powerpoint. I've always wondered how they have shading on the words for different words on professional powerpoints. But thanks to this class I finally know how to shade words!

Within this week of learning I have found out a couple new things. But I will focus on one, which is, a rootkit. Before I understood what malware was and different types of malware such as: virus, spyware, phishing, trojan horse, keylogger, etc. But, I never knew about what a rootkit is. Now I know that it is malicious software able to access a computer while being able to hide its existence.

Regarding my blog, I had no idea that a blog was different from a wiki. I learned that wiki pages are user editable while blogs remain to one person. A blog is where someone can write down their thoughts or act like a journalist and write down current events to help others stay informed.
